Hi there!

I’m Steyn Bartels, founder of The Inner Sight Coaching. My journey started at maritime school after pre-university, which led me to a career as a chief officer at a shipping company, where I led diverse international teams on board. This experience not only honed my management and leadership skills but also sparked my love for different cultures. After earning my captain’s license, I transitioned to a role as a fleet trainer, spending six fulfilling years coaching, leading teambuilding sessions, and running workshops.

I eventually realized how much I missed the vibrant culture of Indonesia from my days at sea, which led me to move to Jakarta and start my own coaching business. With a deep appreciation for Indonesian culture, I’m dedicated to helping clients grow, succeed, and make the most of the unique opportunities here. Outside of work, I’m a big fan of sports, board games, socializing, science, and pushing myself to new heights. Let’s connect and see what we can achieve together!
